About Weems: Weems is a non-profit organization that is a non-political subdivision of the State of Mississippi.  Weems service area is Region 10 of the Mississippi community mental health system and covers Clarke, Jasper, Kemper, Lauderdale, Leake, Neshoba, Newton, Scott and Smith counties.  

Weems promises to: 1) Serve all patients, 2) Offer discounted/sliding fees for patients who qualify bsed on family size and income, 3) Not deny services based on the individual's race, color, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability, sex or inability to pay.

Insurance: All Weems providers are in Medicaid. Some providers are in health insurance plans such as Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi, AHS, CHIP, Magellan, etc. We accept everyone who seeks treatment for emotional or mental health problems and offer discounted fees for patients who qualify.

Outpatient mental health counseling for adults and seniors (individual, family, marital, group), nursing and psychiatric services, outpatient substance abuse treatment, dual diagnosis group, Patient Assistance Program.

Additional services for adults in Lauderdale County provided at other locations include Pinnacle House (adult clubhouse) and Senior Services (intensive psychosocial day treatment group for individuals age 50 and above with a mental health diagnosis).
